Ayurvedic Measures To Increase Immunity

  • Consume 10g of ‘CHYAVANPRASH’ daily. Diabetic patients to consume sugar free chyavanprash.
  • Drink Herbal tea/medicinal potion made of basil, cinnamon, black pepper, dry gourd/ginger and raisin once or twice in a day. Lemon and jaggery could also be added as per your requirement.
  • Drink Golden milk (mix half spoon of turmeric in warm milk) – 150g once or twice in a day.

Ayurvedic Measures To increase Immunity During COVID-19 Crisis

    GUIDELINES:

  1. COMMON MEASURES
  • Always drink warm water.
  • As per the advisory of ministry of AAYUSH, devote at least 30 minutes for yoga asana, pranayama and meditation.
  • While cooking food use turmeric, cumin, coriander, garlic and other spices.
  1. AYURVEDIC MEASURES TO INCREASE THE DISEASE RESISTANCE CAPACITY

  • NOSTRILS – Use seasame oil / coconut oil or Desi Ghee on both the sides of your nose in morning and evening.
  • Gargle with one spoon of seasame/coconut oil for 2 to 3 minutes. After that wash or gargle your mouth with warm water.
  1. FOR COUGH AND SORE THROAT
  • Take steam of peppermint leaves/ajwain (in water) for at least one time in a day.
  • In the case of cough or sore throat, use clove powder mixed with jaggery or honey once or twice in a day.
  • These ways are generally useful in dry cough or sore throat.

Fruits, Vegetables And Lentils For This Season

Ayurvedic Treatments can also be used for curbing the pandemic of Covid-19

Ayurveda has given healthy food tips and advices, in order to improve the immunity of citizens on India.

In accordance with the Ayurveda the Vegetables, Fruits and Lentils for staying healthy during the current situation are as follows-

Vegetables

Bottle Gourd, Pumpkin, Sponge Gourd, Rigged Gourd, Pointed Gourd, Fenugreek, Spinach, Tomato, Peas, Apple Gourd, Capsicum, Garlic, Mint, Coriander, Cucumber, Potato and onion etc. are the vegetables which should washed properly before eating. These are very beneficial for health.

LENTILS

All yellow split grams, Red Lentil, Turkish Gramnand Chick Peas Lentil.

FRUITS

Fruits of summer season i.e. Banana, Grapes, Papaya, Mango, Watermelon and Musk Melon are very good in order to keep the immune system intact.

  • Tulsi 40 gram + Black pepper 20 gram +Dry ginger 20 gram + Cinnamon 20 gram.
  • The above-mentioned ingredients should be dried and put in a air tight container. Everyday 3 gram of the powder should be mixed with 150 ml of boiled water . Take it twice a day for good health.
  • Drink water 4-5 times a day.
  • Avoid the usage of products, which are chilled/ cold.

Ayush Kadha

  1. Tulsi Powder- 30 grams
  2. Black Pepper- 20 grams
  3. Dry Gourd (Dry Ginger) – 30 grams
  4. Cinnamon- 20 grams

(For 4 cups of kadha add a pinch of kadha and do not use sugar rather add jaggery to it).

 On recommendations of Ayush ministry, 6000 patients took part in an ayurvedic trial in which they consumed this special divine herbal decoction. Within 3 days, 5989 patients have been officially tested negative for COVID 19.

1/4th cup raw honey

1 tsp of ground turmeric

Instructions

Mix all the ingredients together and stir well. Pour the mixture in a container with a lid and store in room temperature.

  2. Apply on wounds.
  3. This paste can rejuvenate your skin too.
